On Tuesday, April 1, former Andrew Jackson High School standout Amp Phillips’ current college team, the USC Upstate Spartans, lost 5-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Wofford Terriers.

The game took place at Fifth Third Park. This was their second matchup against the Terriers this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 6 p.m. at Coy O. Williard Stadium against High Point Panthers.
