On Friday, April 4, former York Comprehensive High School standout Avery Smith’s current college team, the Erskine Flying Fleet, lost 7-6 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Converse Valkyries.
The game took place at Erskine Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Valkyries this season.
The Fleet’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 1 p.m. at Erskine Softball Complex against Belmont Abbey Crusaders.
