Ralph Norman, the current U.S. Congressman representing South Carolina’s 5th district, has expressed his perspectives on various national issues via Twitter this April. Serving in Congress since 2017, Norman voiced opinions on sports participation, national spending, and economic competitiveness under former President Trump.

On April 4, 2025, Rep. Ralph Norman criticized the inclusivity in sports, stating, “It’s NOT inclusive, respectful, or safe to allow men to compete in women’s sports. What it is, is dangerous!! This is a total charade trying to turn science into a hate speech problem.”

On April 7, 2025, he commented on the Senate’s financial strategy saying, “‘Unserious and disappointing’ Spot on. The Senate version fails to fix the real issue – reversing the $36 TRILLION deficit. The cancer in this country is spending, not revenues. Proposing $4 billion in cuts over 10 years when the @USTreasury has already spent $582 billion.”

The same day, Norman praised former President Trump’s efforts on manufacturing, tweeting, “President Trump took over a country in shambles. Other countries have taken advantage of our goods for far too long. He’s bringing manufacturing BACK!!”
