Rep. Ralph Norman, a U.S. Congressman representing South Carolina’s 5th district since 2017, addressed several issues related to political accountability and financial transparency in a series of posts on social media in mid-September 2025.

On September 15, Norman posted: “The American people deserve answers. The radical left’s violence isn’t random. It’s organized, funded, and encouraged. It’s time to follow the money and hold them accountable.” He called for increased scrutiny into the funding sources behind political violence.

Later that day, Norman commented on recent findings regarding government funding for non-governmental organizations (NGOs), writing: “EPIC’s latest report shows taxpayer $$ are bankrolling activist NGOs. If Washington funds them, Americans deserve to know if they’re also funded by the WEF, Gates Foundation, or even foreign adversaries. Proud to cosponsor the Putting Trust in Transparency Act to expose it.”

On September 16, Norman highlighted legislative efforts supporting working families: “The Working Families Tax Cuts increases take home pay for hard-working Americans!”

Norman has served as South Carolina’s representative in Congress since succeeding Mick Mulvaney in 2017. Before his tenure in Congress, he served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2005 to 2017. Born in Rock Hill in 1953 and a graduate of Presbyterian College with a Bachelor of Science degree earned in 1975, Norman remains an active figure addressing fiscal oversight and policy transparency within federal legislation.
