Chesterfield County Sheriff's Office issued the following announcement on August 17.
The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office and the Chesterfield County Detention Center are hiring.
Our goal is to provide professional deputies and detention officers to serve the citizens of Chesterfield County. We must hire and retain deputies and detention officers who possess the highest level of honesty, integrity, commitment, and ethics. If you have such qualities and desire to make a difference in the community, Chesterfield County Sheriff's Office is the place for you.
Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, possess a valid South Carolina driver's license, be at least 21 years of age, and must hold or be able to obtain certification from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy.
