Chester County Library issued the following announcement on August 24.
Congratulations to Kennett Library on a successful groundbreaking ceremony on August 12. It was a great event attended by local elected officials, as well as CCLS staff and Board members.
This new Kennett Library & Resource Center provides the structure, space, and infrastructure needed now and for the future, that not only enhances the traditional role of a Library, but serves as a gathering place, a hub for community meetings and activities, and a vital resource welcoming to all.
