Winthrop University issued the following announcement on September 2.
HIGHLIGHTS
- A free mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinic will be held Sept. 9
- Those who receive the first dose of Moderna at the Sept. 9 clinic should plan to receive the second dose on Oct. 6.
On Thursday, Sept. 9, a vaccination van will travel around campus to provide free doses of the Moderna vaccine. Winthrop students can take advantage of a shot right outside their doorstep!
Check out where the mobile vaccination site will be and plan to get your shot!
8:30-9:45 a.m.: Courtyard
10-11:15 a.m.: Scholars Walk at West Center Plaza
11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.: West Thomson
1:45-3 p.m.: Between Lee Wicker and Phelps
3:30-5 p.m.: Coliseum South lot
*Those who receive a shot at one of these locations on Sept. 9 should plan to receive a second dose at the mobile clinic on Oct. 6.
No pre-registration is required to receive the vaccine on Sept. 9. A shot is waiting for you!
