Chesterfield County School District recently issued the following announcement.
Chesterfield County is currently an eLearning Readiness district. The district has applied to become an eLearning district so that we can qualify to make up a day if we have to miss one. On Thursday, September 16, Chesterfield County School District held our first in-school practice eLearning day. Our students participated in in-class virtual activities to simulate an actual eLearning day. Students across the district signed in to their Google Classrooms and completed assignments, activities and participated in Google Meets. eLearning days are an opportunity for districts to provide continuous instruction that would otherwise be postponed due to weather or other disruptive interruptions (power outages, water main breaks, etc.). We are pleased with the outcome of our practice eLearning day. Again thank you for your support in your Chesterfield County School District.
