Chesterfield County School District issued the following announcement on March 28.
The Olde English Consortium (OEC) hosted 9th grade Junior Scholars at York Technical College in Rock Hill. There were students from Chester, Fairfield, Rock Hill, York, Lancaster, Clover, Fort Mill & Chesterfield. The students chose their sessions related to Robotics, Biology, Criminal Justice, Nursing, Cybersecurity, Psychology and Exercise Science. These are the most popular areas at YTC. They also participated in a Myers-Briggs Personality questionnaire. The instructors connected it with future career possibilities. Several current YTC students spoke about their experience while a box lunch was given to each.
