The City of Tega Cay conducted a survey asking for feedback from residents regarding the deer population in Tega Cay. The City received 2119 responses, of those 93 were removed due to the responses being from outside the City Limits or duplicates. Of the 2026 valid responses, 1016 (50.15%) voted yes in favor of using sharpshooters to manage the deer population and 1010 (49.85%) voted no.
