Event Details
Reading aloud helps young students expand vocabulary and improve comprehension. A friendly face, particularly one accompanied by a wagging tail, can help ease reading jitters and build self-confidence in readers who want extra practice. School age children are invited to practice reading in short sessions in a circle-style setting with a literacy therapy dog. Registration is required.
Ages 6-10. Register online or call 981-5888, starting December 15. Limit 7.
