Ralph Norman, a U.S. Congressman representing South Carolina's 5th district since 2017, recently shared his views on government-related issues through a series of tweets. Norman, who succeeded Mick Mulvaney and previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2005 to 2017, expressed his concerns regarding government operations and policies.

On February 7, 2025, Ralph Norman tweeted about what he perceives as a significant achievement against government inefficiency. He stated: "An American PATRIOT!! The end of waste, fraud, and abuse at the hands of the government is here. Congratulations Russ!"

In another tweet on February 8, 2025, Norman referred to his past legislative efforts aimed at defunding certain federal rules. He wrote: "I led an FY24 appropriations amendment back in 2023 to defund this exact rule. It’s past time to codify President Trump’s agenda to restore biological truth to the federal government."

On February 9, 2025, Norman highlighted revelations made by former President Trump and entrepreneur Elon Musk concerning alleged misuse within USAID. His tweet read: "President Trump and Elon Musk have uncovered the most egregious examples of waste, fraud, and abuse in the USAID - something my colleagues and I have been sound the alarm on for a long time. The truth is finally coming to light on the deep state within our government."
