Ralph Norman calls for Medicaid reform and endorses Trump's policies

Rep. Ralph Norman, a U.S. Congressman representing South Carolina’s 5th district since 2017, has been vocal on social media regarding several national issues. Born in Rock Hill, South Carolina, and an alumnus of Presbyterian College, Norman often shares his perspectives on government spending and policy matters.

On March 4, 2025, Rep. Ralph Norman expressed concerns over Medicaid's financial management. He highlighted that "Medicaid issued nearly $1.1 TRILLION in improper payments over the past decade." Norman called for reforms by stating "It’s time to fix what’s been broken."

The following day, March 5, 2025, he turned his attention to energy policy under the current administration. In a tweet he asserted that "Energy independence = PROSPERITY again!!" and added that this marks just the beginning for President Trump.

Later on March 5, 2025, Rep. Norman tweeted about gender identity with a quote from the President: ""There are only two genders: male and female." - @POTUS" He endorsed this statement as part of bringing back what he described as "the COMMON SENSE revolution."
